Kade Alpers (they/he) is a trans-masculine dyke whose work is deeply rooted in archiving queer history. His goal is to capture dyke and trans life in NYC as it truly exists in the present, while paying homage to the photographers who have preserved LGBTQ history and contributing to that archive for the ones who will come after. Kade's subjects are often people with whom they share trusted relationships, allowing for intimate, personal portrayals.
